Situated in the middle of Five Dock, this dog park is split into two separate fenced areas. One area for large dogs and the other for smaller dogs. A large oval, with tree cover and partially fenced. You can put your dog on leash and follow Canal Road down to Hawthorne Canal Dog Park where there are usually many local dogs playing whilst the owners grab a coffee from Cafe Bones. 9. Glover Street Sporting Ground

This Dog Park has been a favourite for our Balmain franchise for the past 10 years! It is partly fenced and away from any main roads making it a safe spot to take the dogs. 10. Birchgrove Oval

Birchgrove Oval is a great place to take your dog on a hot sunny day to cool down! Although the main oval is used for sports so dogs are strictly not allowed on there, the surrounding grass area is off leash - and enough space for your dog to run to dry off! There are some steep steps that are used to get onto the beach, so take caution as dogs may run past you to get onto the beach. Check the tide and make sure to go when its low! 11. Glebe Foreshore Park

A great park to visit if you're in the Inner West and your dog wants to have a swim! Always plenty of dogs around to have a play with. If you do end up walking over the bridge onto the otherside of Jubilee Park, then your dog will need to be on leash there. However the beach side is all off leash!
